What started as an idea — a small one, built late at night around a love of Arabic perfumery — has grown into something far greater. Not because of me, but because of every person who supported us, trusted us, and chose Fragrance Forte along the way.

Why this launch matters
For as long as Fragrance Forte has existed, our job has been curation. We searched Saudi Arabia and Dubai for houses worth your attention, we tested far more than we ever listed, and we brought the best of Arabic perfumery to the UK at prices that made sense. That work will never stop — the brands you love are staying right where they are.
But there has always been a second ambition sitting quietly behind the first: to create something of our own.
The Forte Six is that something. It is our first house collection — six eau de parfums developed under our own name, built on the same values that shaped this business from day one. Depth over noise. Longevity over sparkle. Raw materials that feel expensive because they are, not because the bottle says so.
It is, without question, the biggest milestone in Fragrance Forte's history.
What is The Forte Six?
The Forte Six is our curated edit — the fragrances we would hand you first if you could only ever try six.
Each one is a 100ml eau de parfum at £34.99, or you can take the whole collection as The Forte Six — Complete Collection for £174.99, which works out at under £30 a bottle.
They are designed to sit together as a wardrobe rather than compete with one another. One for the office. One for the evening. One for the days you want to smell like yourself, only better. Between them they cover the ground most people spend years and a lot of money trying to map: soft and powdery, smoky and meditative, clean and golden, spiced and alive, dark and green, warm and enveloping.
Below is what each one actually smells like — in plain language, the way we would describe it to you in person.
Veil — soft focus, skin warmed
Veil opens with a soft-focus haze of bergamot and peony before turning genuinely comforting. Lily of the valley, orange blossom and tonka sit in the heart, with a thread of caramel that reads as soothing rather than sweet. Musk, amber, cedarwood and moss hold it close to the skin.
Wear it when: you want to be noticed second, not first. Perfect for work, quiet dinners and everyday wear.
Smoke — powdered iris over warm resin
The quietest fragrance in the collection, and the hardest to put down. Cool, powdery orris with a dusting of spice opens it. Balsamic resins and dry woods bring in a soft haze — not burnt, but warm, still, almost meditative. Vanilla and musk close it out with a creaminess that lingers.
Wear it when: you want something contemplative and grown-up. Autumn evenings, cold mornings, long drives.
Pure — clean, golden, effortless
Pure is the collection stripped back. Bergamot and mandarin open bright and unfussy, orange blossom lifts the heart, and amber and cedarwood bring the warmth — finishing on a creamy musk that stays close to the skin for hours. No drama, no edges, just a soft luminous warmth.
Wear it when: you need a fragrance that works with absolutely everything. The safest bottle in the six, in the best possible way.
Pulse — spice with a heartbeat
The fastest-moving scent in the collection. Ginger, elemi, bergamot, lavandin, green cypress and cardamom genuinely wake the senses up. Orange blossom, neroli, cinnamon and orris warm the heart into something spiced and elegant rather than sharp.
Wear it when: you want energy. Daytime, summer, and anywhere you want to be remembered.
Noir — dark, green and quietly dangerous
Noir starts friendly and does not stay that way. Crisp apple and red fruits over resinous cistus give way to vetiver with a damp, rooty sharpness. Leather and patchouli draw the shadows in, and the dry-down of moss and ambergris leaves something salted and skin-close behind.
Wear it when: the sun has gone down. Our most characterful release and, we suspect, the one that will divide opinion most.
Ember — warmth that stays lit
Ember closes the collection where Arabic perfumery has always been strongest: warmth. Amber, resin and soft spice over a woody, balsamic base that glows rather than burns, and holds on the skin long after everything else has settled.
Wear it when: you want comfort and presence at the same time. Winter's obvious answer.

How to choose your first bottle
If you are new to Arabic perfume in the UK and not sure where to start, here is the shortest honest advice we can give:
- Start with Pure if you want one bottle that never feels like the wrong choice.
- Start with Veil or Smoke if you like fragrances that stay close to the skin and reveal themselves slowly.
- Start with Pulse if you wear fragrance during the day and want to be noticed.
- Start with Noir or Ember if you already know you like depth, and mainstream designer scents have started to feel thin.
And if you cannot choose — that is precisely why the complete collection exists.
